In my explanation I am talking about a trip in Portugal, some people won't get it but basically I am comparing this bike journey with a Go Kart trip Andy and I had done in Lisbon because he sh*t me up and here again he did the same....
Here you can see the bumpy road we had to travel on every day to get to our hostel and you can also see a man carrying huge water containers..this is how most people transport their goods here in the amazons....they are STRONG!....
After our nice, bumpy drive we got to Leticia, well I drove us there. Was my first time driving a moped, taking a passenger and driving for so long....But I panicked, I don't feel the same driving a moped than I do whilst driving a car....We made it though...
A typical house with a little shy girl outside of it....
After getting the boat back to Leticia we decided to head to Brazil one last time, we ended up going to the "chocolate house". It is a big shop where they sell every type of chocolate.....
Brazilian Money "Reais" You can use the three different currencies within each border....

We then stopped for lunch in Brazil, it was a bit frustrating though as we stopped where we saw a "pizzeria" sign... we sat down ans asked for pizza's and they said they didn't have any, odd? They said they had steak or chicken, we licked our lips and ordered steak, but after we had our first dish which was soup, they told us they only had chicken left.....we were not impressed! Yet again we ate chicken, rice, frijoles and plantain....did only come to 3,000 pesos each, which is a euro but still, we were turning into chickens.
After that we headed back to our hostal for our final activity of the day which was going in a canoe....
Andy's back after being attacked by mosquito's
When we went along the river we found this Boa on top of our heads. Was about 2ms long, gliding along the tree's....wish we got to touch it though.
we travelled further along the river until it was raining so heavily and my camera fell into the boat full of water.... that was the end of all footage and photos of the amazons, luckily for us we only had one day left but we were still left pretty annoyed!
On our last day we went to do Canopy. We had to climb up rope which was 37 ms high up a tree, was pretty scary every time I looked down as it isn't the same as rock climbing, which is what I have done in the past. This was carrying your own weight, so it was very very tiring. After that we canopied down the jungle, in total 130 m's, was an amazing sight but not scary at all, but then again I don't get easily scared....
After that we rushed back to our hostel and headed to the airport...And that is how our amazons trip ended, sorry I couldn't add photo's, GUTTED!
But the camera survived and I have been continuing my journey with videos and photo's.....
Menos mal que pudiste recuperar la cámara...! Menudas pintas con el machete!! jejeje
