If you haven't done so already, I suggest and recommend you to watch the documentary/ film "The Cove".
The Cove is an insight to the slaughter of thousands of dolphins for profit, happening in a cove in Taiji, Japan. The Japanese people do not know this is happening, not many people do. But they have been discovered, on camera by Ric O'Barry, dolphin trainer and creator of flipper and other activists.
The government are slaughtering these animals and using the meat to feed the Japanese, but the meat that is being sold is toxic, with very high mercury levels and it isn't even identified as dolphin meat, but instead it has been labelled as whale meat (not that i agree on any of the above).
After seeing this film I was left in shock and wanting to do something. But what can I, Lukita do?

There you can sign a petition and help ban this cruel and sickening murder to dolphins.
It has been working so far and hopefully it will come to an end. But we have to open our eyes to everything happening around us. This is one of many cruel things going on in the World and maybe by spreading the word we can make a difference.
