Soothing an Ear Ache

Ear and tooth aches have to be one of the worst pains one can go through.

Ear aches are usually the medical problem of both adults and children. Most of the time, this problem is causing a lot of pain and swelling of the outer part of the ear. When fluid start to develop behind the eardrum located at the centre of the ear usually causes ear aches especially for children. Health experts found out that ear aches may also be acquired from water retention, shampoo or soap. Hence there are a lot of sufferers in the summer months from the swimming pool, which is why it is always recommendable to wear ear plugs if you are spending many days by the beach or pool. The ear canal may also get irritated from other object like cotton buds. However, there are some homemade remedies that can be used to treat ear ache.

The one that has really worked for me is GARLIC CLOVES!

I know it sounds very odd, when I was told about this, I was in so much pain I didn't care as long as the pain would go.
And YES it worked.
The trick?
Heat up a few garlic cloves in a microwave or a pan, only so they are warm enough and not too hot. Put the clove in you ear and the pain will go at once. As the clove starts to cool, swap it with another heated clove.
This will not remove any infections but this is definitely a useful idea for moments you are at home and have nothing else to use.

  1. I think this is a very good and simple way to ease the pain. Thanks for sharing. You can also use warm olive oil to get relief from earache. Steam inhalation is also a great instant remedy.
