Time to Dance

I'm in the club with my friends,
I won't be leaving until this party Ends,
The beats are playing from the ceiling to the floor,
The vibrations through my body make me want more.

We have to dance no matter what,
salsa, jazz, or my favourite hip hop.
You got to move to take it all out,
That is what Friday nights are all about.
Getting ready, feeling hot and looking your best
When Sunday comes that's when you can rest,
Get those heels on, its only one night.
but if you don't know how to walk in them then pumps are alright.

We see the boys, they are looking at us,
We send the cheeky smile over with no fuss.
There is no point in being so rude,
They were brave, it's not their fault your not in the mood,
Just dance with your friends until the night ends.

To the boys in the corner, looking at how we move,
Get up from your seats and get into the groove.
If you want to have a chance,
You have to go onto the dancefloor
and prove to me that you can dance.

Dancing is very important in life,
it releases the weekly tensions and strife.
So if you are a boy or a girl,
It doesn't matter you should all give it a whirl.

Don't hang in the park and get high and drunk,
Go to the bar dapper and get into the funk.
You can dance in the street or in your room,
in the club, park or in the bathroom.

It doesn't matter where,
As long as you can move and whip that hair,
grab your friends and dance to the beat.
The night has to end with you on your feet.
