The other day we were invited to another friend of the families Finca.... The finca is in a village called Sasaima which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bogota. The house was lovely, full of fruit trees including, orange tree's, avocado tree's, Mandarin tree's, Banana tree's, Guanava and even coffee plants....It was amazing....

It was a nice break from the city and it was great to see the "real" Colombia, as Bogota is just like any city really. It reminds me of Spain a bit, maybe the language is a great help but these villages is what it is all about. Seeing the people of the villages, the parks, the shops and the bars, it is another World.

Fruit called Guanava, as you can see it is very big and very tasty. The inside can be eaten or made into a nice fruit Juice.
Having a rest...this is the life....
Nice BBQ, we all ate lamb with Guacamole, rice and Yuka (a bit like Yams)
Breakfast before our trek into the wild....ok we went to the river. But was still an excursion to remember.....
........The Big breakfast included Arepas, Scrambled eggs with onion and tomatoe, Soup, Mango and Mandarin Juice!!! I was ready to EXPLODE!!!!
