Curing a Sore Throat with Natural Remedies

Winter has arrived and the germs are back in town, so we all need to prevent ourselves from getting the dreaded flu.

Taking vitamins is highly recomendable, as this can really help prevent you getting ill, taking vitamin C tablets everyday in Winter can help you.

But how can we prevent you suffering?

Have you got a sore Throat or the start to one?

After having swollen tonsils for over a month now, I decided that having medication wasn't the healthiest of options. I wasn't getting any better and I think my body was becoming immune to so much medication. It was not curing me, it was just stalling the flu and this has made me feel weak for too long now.

I have opted for trying natural remedies and in the past I mentioned the Garlic cloves for your ears, although it sounds absurd, it really works.

Now I want to give you another common recipe for sore throat or tonsilitis.

Ingredients -
 Small bit of cut Ginger
1/2 - Natural Lemon Juice
2 tbsHoney
3/4 mug Boiling Water
1/2 tsp - Tumeric

Method -
Cut a piece of ginger and peel the skin off.
Add to boiling water and boil for just over a minute.
Squeeze a couple of fresh lemons and add the juice to your mug.
Add the ginger once it has boiled - Do Not Boil the Lemons because this causes it to lose its affect.
Lemon acts like a disinfectant.

Add honey as this gives the lemon juice a sweeter taste and is although soothing on the throat.
Voila! You have your Lemon ginger tea.

Drink this a few times a day for a couple of days and hopefully your throat will no longer ache and your body will be grateful that you aren't overloading on chemicals.
